difficulties in the way of instituting proceedings in the Court of Macao upon a foreign judgment, but it has been suggested to us that, if a request be made by this Government to the Government of Macao that a judgment properly obtained in the Supreme Court of Hongkong may be enforced in Macao, such request will be complied with.
We have therefore the honour to send you herewith a copy of the judgment in question, sealed with the seal of the Court, and viséd by the Consul-General for Portugal,
and to request that you will be good enough to lay this matter before His Excellency the Governor with a view to steps being taken to induce the Authorities in Macao to enforce such judgment.
